  I visited White Rock several years ago, and it still stands out as the highlight of my time in Napa. Henri spent a lot of time with us explaining their process, and sampling wines. The cellars and vineyard are managed with by the Vandendriessche family with a lot of care and love. It's really a spectacular place.

  You couldn't ask for a better experience. Henri was incredibly patient, and generous with his time spending two-hours with a group of just four wannabe wine experts that asked way too many questions. The wines were superb, both red and white. Equally superb was the setting, 250' above the valley floor and the site of a winery and vineyards that date back to the 1870's. Make an appointment. You will not be disappointed!

  We visited White Rock with East Coast friends; the tour was given by Henri Vandendriessche, one of the founders. He took us through the history of the property, the principles that underlie the growing and production of their wines, as well as the recent history of the Napa Valley.
  
  An appointment is necessary for the visit. You will be well-rewarded.

  We were given a tour by the operator of the winery (its family owned) who knew a substantial amount about wine making and did a fantastic job sharing his knowledge of the land and of wine making in general. The wines are a bit drier here but the quality of them is quite good.
