  A wonderfully luxurious place to stay in Bathurst. The host is, not only hospitable, she is also helpful and caring! The breakfast hamper supplied is plentiful and delicious. It was a home away from home: clean, comfortable and peaceful!

  White Rock is reasonably recent suburb (curbs aren't in yet) with large blocks, set about ten minutes drive from the Bathurst central business district. Loloma's is a purpose-built house with two attached dwellings accessed through courtyard that comes complete with an in-ground pool. Think of it as a European style setting arranged around a central courtyard you'll get the idea. Despite the slighting disconcerting suburban setting, it's definitely a cut above all other accommodation I looked at in the Bathurst region.
  
  The pool suite is perhaps oddly laid out, but attractive and clean, with lovely afternoon light (faces the setting sun) moderated by semi-transparent blinds that still keep pool views. The light-filled, mostly private setting made it a nice place to hang out while my partner attended the recent Artstate conference in town. The bed is king-sized, the linen and towels are high quality, and the contemporary bathroom is attractively laid out, a decent distance from the bedroom (nice in a small suite), and sparkling clean.
  
  We both appreciated the fridge being stocked with breakfast supplies, which included sourdough bread, quality muesli, jams, yoghurt, bottled water and punnet of raspberries, which were restocked as required by our host, Jennifer. Fresh towels were also regularly supplied.
  
  While the host is on-site, you're afforded a reasonable amount of privacy in your suite, though of course you're sharing access with the people in the other suite, and the family. Jennifer will happily explain where to eat, from pub to restaurant style meals if you're interested, or to leave you to your own devices. She thoughtfully texted us rather than knocking, which I appreciated, and left supplies in the conservatory you enter the courtyard through. The garden is quite lovely, with flowers everywhere.
